The egg capital of the world
HistoryLink says the town was renamed Winlock on December 27, 1873, after Winlock Miller, and the City of Winlock says it incorporated on February 28, 1883. By 1922, HistoryLink says, Winlock was the second-largest egg-producing city in America, behind only Petaluma, California, and the fiberglass egg built in 1991 weighs 1,200 pounds and sits on a 10-foot steel pole.
In Interstate Pest Management records for new customers with Winlock billing addresses over the last five years, ants were on 40% of first visits and rats and mice on 27%. Carpenter ants were on 12%, about twice the 5% share across our whole Kelso service area.
When to expect it

Chicken feed, scratch grain and stored seed draw rats and mice. Metal bins with tight lids, and feeders taken in at night, do as much as any bait. We control the rodents, then quote sealing for the gaps we find, with a 1-year warranty on exclusion materials.

How service works in Winlock
- 1
Tell us what you see
Book online or call 360-515-3882. Tell us about coops, barns and shops so we can plan the inspection for your Winlock property.
- 2
Inspect and treat
Your technician walks the house, the crawl space and any outbuildings, finds where pests get in and what draws them, treats them and shows you what was done.
- 3
Stay ahead of each season
Visits are timed ahead of each pest’s busy months. If something gets through between visits, one call brings us back, included in your plan.
